First published "A Caprée, chez Sabellus", i.e., at Nancy by Leclerc, 1780. Cf. Cohen, Henry. Guide de l'amateur de livres à gravures du XVIIIe siècle.

Cohen says the illustrations are inventions of the author. He considers the 1785 edition an "imitation."
